A Giraffe's-Eye View of Mantics

Ever tried explaining a brilliant idea, only to get blank stares? Us too. Here’s our attempt to give you a view from above, explaining how we see the world and why we love working with NGOs. Click on any section to take a peek!

The Tall Tale Challenge

Why explaining what we do can be a stretch.

Communicating our value can be tricky. Friends and family just see us nibbling on high-hanging leaves (working on abstract stuff). But business folks get it when we talk "value creation."

Our solution? Tangible stories and interactive demos!

Idea in the Works: The "Choose-Your-Own-Team" Sim!

Imagine a game where you pick a team (supermarket, office, etc.) and see exactly how Mantics would diagnose their problems, design a solution, and measure the awesome results. It’s like a safari, but for improving teamwork!

Our Favorite Grazing Grounds

Why we prefer to hang out with Non-Profits.

We’ve made a conscious choice to prioritize working with NGOs. Why? Because our values align perfectly! It's less about corporate jungles and more about cultivating community gardens.

  • Shared Values: NGOs are mission-driven, just like us.
  • Open to New Ideas: Their activist roots mean they're often open to trying new, collaborative approaches.
  • We Learn Too! It's a two-way street; we learn as much from them as they do from us. It's the ultimate symbiotic herd relationship!

Scouting the Savanna

Potential partners for our first pilot projects.

We are actively identifying values-aligned organizations for our initial pilot projects. Our goal is to partner with groups where our tools can create immediate, tangible impact. Here are some examples of the types of NGOs we're considering:

  • Local Environmental Groups in the Algarve: Organizations focused on water quality, reforestation, and sustainable agriculture.
  • Educational Non-Profits: Groups working to improve digital literacy and access to education in rural Portuguese communities.
  • Social Cooperatives: Community-led initiatives that could benefit from streamlined project management and collaboration tools.

Our Step-by-Step Safari

The "Minimum Viable Pilot" blueprint.

We believe in starting small and making a real impact. Even a small herd (or a single giraffe!) can kick off a project. Here's our 8-week plan to get things moving:

Week 1: The Handshake (or Neck-shake?)

Kickoff, agreements, and getting to know the terrain.

Week 2: Spotting the Watering Holes

Investigating the team's needs and pain points.

Week 3: Drawing the Map

Collaboratively designing a solution. The team helps draw it, so they own it!

Weeks 4-7: The Journey

Implementing the new tools and methods.

Week 8: Admiring the View

Evaluating the results, both with the client and internally.

How the Herd Stays Happy

Our internal culture and "KX Sessions".

We strongly believe: "The way we build our system should reflect what we want to offer others." Our internal world is ethical, simple, and trust-based.

To keep our knowledge fresh, we have **"KX Sessions"** (Knowledge Transfer)! 🧠

It's simple: anyone who learns something new can lead a session to share it with the team. The reward? Besides enlightenment... there's sometimes cake. It’s our sweet way of building a learning culture!
